Seaside Seabird Sanctuary Project

The Seaside Seabird Sanctuary in St. Petersburg FL, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and conservation of Florida’s unique bird populations. It is also a place near & dear to my heart.

Ever since I was a child my family has been coming down to St. Pete beach for a big family reunion, and every year we make sure to visit the bird sanctuary. After finishing college, I was eager to get into the field and use my art in action, and the sanctuary was one of the first places I offered my painting expertise to. 

 That first mural for them was in 2022 and is still a bold eye-catching image that always attracts guests driving by. 

That was 4 years ago and now the sanctuary has had a total of 5 murals commissioned beautifying their property with vibrant colors and energetic imagery. Each painting is meant as a token of gratitude for their hardworking team, and the beautiful birds they care for.
